I like to think of FRETS.COM as a sort of "shareware textbook." At almost 1,250 html pages, FRETS.COM is certainly the biggest single reference on fretted instrument care, maintenance, repair and restoration. And, with more than 10,000 photographs, it's also one of the largest archives of instrument photos. Assembling all this material takes me about as much time (and money) as you might imagine.
