You just can't beat the Bacon and Day Silver Bell "Ne Plus Ultra" when it comes to flash and fire. Solid ebony neck and resonator, elaborately engraved metal work, colored and engraved pearloid, Rhinestones - this custom celebrity banjo has the works! Word has it that Frank Reino didn't like the feeling of heavy carving on the neck, so he had the customary lion head at the heel replaced by a more delicate gold filled incising, which was repeated around the shell.
