Travel Tool Kit
I made this tool years ago by grinding a 12mm wide violin maker's knife into a little
hook shape. It's virtually impossible to see in this photo, but the very tip is
slightly hollow ground so it's widest at the pointy end, which I keep very sharp.
With it, I can drag glue and debris out of a fret slot, and deepen it without injuring
the sides of the slot. A similar and equally effective tool is available from Stewart
MacDonald.
