Travel Tool Kit
At home, I have several 3/4" chisels. They're all just the
same, so I have a good chance of actually having a sharp one when I need it. On the
road, I take along this identical chisel, to which I've fitted a stubby little handle
to conserve space in my tool box. Just as with my violin maker's knife, I find I get better performance
from a modestly priced European or American style tool rather than the laminated
Japanese type.
