1840s Martin 3-24

The Martin size "3" is a small size guitar indeed. When this one was made in the 1840s, it was small for its day - basically a parlor guitar even then. It has the transitional pin bridge, with the "scooped" back edge held over from the early tie bridges, and a host of interesting decorative features. This is a working instrument today, in daily use.
