An unusual and harmonious design
Breedlove CM

© Frank Ford, 1999; Photos by FF

The first time I saw a Breedlove CM guitar, I was impressed by its style. It really looks like it was designed by an artist, not by a committee. I don't have too much to say about it, except that this is one of those instruments I really admire. It takes guts to make a non-traditional instrument with such a strong visual style. This is a fine performer, with the power and grace of a good fingerstyle guitar, but I wanted to include it in the museum simply because I like the way it looks.

Breedlove is known for using a wide variety of exotic woods. This one has figured walnut back & side, and cedar top.
