A classic Jazz Age instrument

A real piece of professional hardware in its day (1920s) and a highly sought after professional banjo today, the Bacon and Day Silver Bell is a benchmark instrument for plectrum banjo players. Style, stability, tone. What more could you ask? This example has the trademark "Soft Pedal" mute that allows the banjoist control over a range of expression from full to muted volume while playing.
