Travel Tool Kit: Neck Support Block
Well, this one is simple enough. It's a small section of redwood 4x4 that I've used for decades as my only support under instrument necks as I work on them, for refretting or what not. It's not specialized because I see a large variety of sizes and shapes of different fretted instruments, and I like to have the ability to wrestle them around on my workbench. This block is covered with two 1/8" thick layers of leather, and it works for me.
