Threet E Cutaway
This acacia won't give you hay fever!

Here's another large fingerstyle guitar by Judy Threet. Its back and sides are of Australian blackwood, a member of the acacia family to which Hawaiian koa also belongs. I'm particularly fond of Judy's understated inlay work, in the form of a fly doing a "touch and go" landing in a moonlit pond. Once again Judy proves that you don't have to load up with complex inlay and marquetry to make an elegant design statement. Good sounding? Of course it is.
