Treholipee - Uke-like Object
Oh, sure. . .

It's "Tre" for "three" and "holi" for "holes", or so I'm told. I can only guess (ugh) what the "pee" is all about. Anyhow, this little item was one of a line of novelty ukes that became a minor success story in the late 1960s, eventually reaching a total population of about 60,000. Of the bunch, the Treholipee was the most outrageous with its long peghead spear that was so useful at the beach. The idea was that when you weren't playing the thing, you'd stab the thing into the sand. That's about enough of that, I think.
