Armstrong Keyhole Ukulele
Bob Armstrong's racy number!

Our favorite cartoonist, Robert Armstrong, strikes again.

Music is for fun. Ukes are for fun. What better way to multiply the fun than to make a truly silly uke? Clearly a product of the '50s cartoon style, this one has all the classy elements that's sure make a hit at any gathering!

This ukulele is a fine sounding instrument actually made by Kenny Hill in Felton, and is solid mahogany throughout. Bob paints each one individually by hand, using acrylics brushed directly on the wood, followed by a sealer coat of clear lacquer. The Keyhole Uke is one of the few Armstrong painted instruments we've had available for sale at Gryphon.

Joan Baez shares my enthusiasm for Bob's humorous art. . .
